Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple FM projects with accountability for project delivery, performance, budget, schedule, quality, and risk
  • Oversee project management processes and operational/commercial delivery across Japan
  • Monitor financial performance, KPIs, risks, billing, and AR collection
  • Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Define project scope, budget, resources, schedules, and risk mitigation plans
  • Manage project procurement activities, including RFPs, bid evaluations, and vendor selection
  • Implement project governance, documentation control, reporting, and change management processes
  • Track project progress and resolve issues to ensure delivery against objectives, budget, and timelines
  • Lead project meetings and maintain stakeholder communication
  • Manage third-party project delivery teams and support team development when required

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or industry-related discipline
  • APMP, LEED, RICS, or equivalent project management qualification preferred

Skills & Knowledge

  • English communication skills (fluent preferred)
  • Strong project management, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings
  • Knowledge of construction practices, contracts, and leases
  • Strong understanding of Mechanical & Electrical Engineering
  • Financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting capabilities
  • Experience working in international and matrix-based environments

Experience

  • Proven experience managing FM projects through planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout
  • Experience delivering multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience managing direct, indirect, and third-party resources
  • Strong customer relationship management skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with broader operational teams
  • Experience delivering projects within manufacturing or industrial environments
