The Inside Account Representative (IAR) is responsible for driving profitable growth within an assigned portfolio of commercial customers. Working closely with HP channel partners, the ISR manages the full sales cycle, from customer profiling and account planning to pipeline development, opportunity management, and sales closure. The role focuses on identifying customer needs, creating new business opportunities, and expanding HP's presence within existing accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and grow a defined territory of mid-sized commercial customers.
Develop strong relationships with customers and channel partners.
Identify and qualify new sales opportunities.
Drive pipeline creation, management, and forecasting.
Achieve and exceed assigned revenue and quota targets.
Execute account planning and customer profiling activities.
Maintain accurate CRM records and sales reporting.
Promote HP's portfolio of products, solutions, and services.
Engage with IT decision-makers, procurement teams, and business stakeholders.
Balance transactional sales activities with solution-based selling approaches.
Required Skills and Competencies

A successful IAR consistently delivers revenue growth, develops trusted customer relationships, maintains a healthy sales pipeline, and collaborates effectively across HP's internal teams and partner ecosystem. The role requires a combination of hunting for new opportunities, expanding existing business, and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
