Are you looking for a highly visible position where you can play a key role in creating and driving a new source of business for Philips Image Guided Therapy? Are you a strong product leader with the skills to turn customer insights, data, and emerging AI capability into intelligent, workflow-changing solutions?

The AI Product Manager is the pivotal product-management role for Image Guided Therapy Systems (IGT-S) in Greater China. The role drives the creation and localization of the AI product portfolio from idea to market. You are accountable for defining, launching, and building profitable AI-enabled products and solutions that innovate and extend our current workflow, software, and data offering.

As AI Product Manager, IGT Systems, you will work closely with all the business functions (Marketing, Finance, Design, Markets, Operations, Q&R, Regulatory Affairs, and R&D) and drive the creation of AI-enabled products and commercial solutions from idea to market. The AI offer spans ambient sensing and lab data, procedural Co-Pilot and workflow automation, documentation and reporting, voice interaction, collaboration, and the partner ecosystem, built on deep customer insight and addressing key clinical and operational pain points across the interventional pathway.

You are responsible for

As AI Product Manager, IGT Systems, you will drive the definition, requirements, development, and introduction of winning AI-enabled products for Image Guided Therapy Systems, enabling our customers to deliver the best possible patient care at optimal economical value while performing minimally invasive procedures. By working in close alignment with customers, markets, partners, and internal stakeholders, you will continuously improve our integral offering.

  • Drive the AI portfolio creation and prioritization, and strongly represent the AI product audience in program and integral product and service portfolio governance.
  • Own and drive the daily management of portfolio execution together with the relevant product managers and R&D.
  • Lead upstream and downstream marketing for IGT AI product introductions, such as workflow automation, procedural documentation, ambient sensing, and CollabLive.
  • Take responsibility for the full lifecycle management of the new product introductions, including idea-to-market, market-to-order, and order-to-cash strategy creation and execution with the IGT business and central competencies.
  • Build the business case and drive the development and delivery of new AI propositions in cooperation with key customers, markets, partners, and internal stakeholders (especially Executives, Marcom, Customer Service, Clinical Specialists, Regulatory Affairs, and R&D).
  • Ensure that AI product and solution plans are integrated with the planning of other disciplines, such as R&D, Manufacturing, and the ecosystem platform.
  • Define the launch and channel strategy and drive the local execution in collaboration with the local markets.
  • Coordinate and set value-based pricing across the AI portfolio to ensure profitable growth.
  • Work with the regional marketing team and the market sales teams, for example conducting presentations ahead of new product and solution launches.
  • Set up post-market introduction studies to gather evidence on market performance, clinical value, and AI claims versus the business case and budget (order intake, funnel development, price realization, sales).

You are a part of

You will work in a highly motivated Greater China IGT-S product management and marketing team, with team members and markets across the globe. In the team you will work with other Product Managers, Program Managers, Performance Managers, R&D China, and a customer experience manager, and partner closely with the global AzurionEye and ecosystem teams. The team operates in an open atmosphere and is characterized by a self-starting mentality, creating your own focus areas after consulting the various stakeholders. The work location is Shanghai, China.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, data or AI, biomedical engineering, or a business or marketing field, with an excellent academic track record.

Experience

  • At least 10 years of experience in an international business environment in product management or marketing, ideally in a high-tech, software and AI, or healthcare environment.
  • Experience with product development (staged-gate) and product launches is a must; experience with AI/ML-enabled or software and data products is strongly preferred.
  • Preference for a proven track record with global brands in the healthcare market, and experience delivering products for the China market, including NMPA regulatory pathways.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with multiple and diverse stakeholders across a global matrix.
  • Excellent communication skills in English are a must; Mandarin is a strong advantage.
  • Experience with LEAN and agile ways of working is desirable.
