We also have 1st line support consultants who speak French and English, but also Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and German.The Application Services department is responsible for areas such as software development, data engineering, testing services, CRM, ITSM and ERP platform integrations, as well as application management for customers in Scandinavia, Benelux, France, Germany, Switzerland and the UK.Job DescriptionWe are looking for Lead DevOps Engineer to join Sopra Steria Polska and one of our innovative international squads.As a Development Expert with a focus on Cloud Engineering, you design, build and operate highly available, secure cloud services as part of an integrated DevSecOps delivery team.As part of a multi-year transformation program, our team is modernizing central, business-critical applications and operating them on a cloud-based, containerised microservice architecture within an Azure Landing Zone. Delivery follows an agile (Scrum) near model in close coordination with the client. The environment combines a modern Azure-based cloud and DevSecOps tech stack with the high standards of IT security, availability and regulatory compliance that apply to a central bank, offering broad exposure to complex distributed systems and the full software development life cycle in a DevSecOps context, including operations and monitoring, with a focus on portability and avoidance of vendor lock-in.Note that we can only offer cooperation to people who are located in Poland and have EU citizenship.Responsibilities:​Design, develop and operate cloud-based microservices for highly available, business-critical applicationsBuild and maintain containerised solutions on Kubernetes, in particular Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), OpenShift and DockerDesign, implement and operate automated CI/CD pipelines using DevSecOps toolsApply “secure by design” principles, IT security and identity and access management (IAM) (incl. OAuth2 / OIDC flows)Develop and integrate APIs (REST / SOAP) including API managementIntegrate relational and non-relational databases as well as cloud storage and data-provision servicesAnalyse and optimise application and infrastructure performance (availability, redundancy, scalability)Contribute to monitoring, observability and operational stability of applications within the DevSecOps teamCollaborate within an agile (Scrum) team across the full SDLC, in close coordination with the clientTech stack on the project:​Cloud: Microsoft Azure (incl.
