Are you a System & Network Engineer looking for a new challenge?
If you want to expand your reach and share your knowledge with a team of professionals, contribute to the development of your colleagues' or Clients' skills, want to consolidate your expertise and grow on innovative projects, this is your opportunity!
What this experience will bring you
First of all, an interesting technical challenge but also an overview of our Client's projects.
We will build your career together and accompany you towards the development of new skills and technical leadership.
What will your role be?
We're looking for professionals with solid hands-on experience in networks, Linux and virtualization who now want to step up into an IT Architect role: designing the infrastructure, owning the technical decisions and documenting them in HLD/LLD, while keeping a strong connection with the technology. We'll support you in this transition with training, certifications and real architecture responsibility from day one.
What you'll do
- Define the target architecture for network, systems and security, turning business requirements into resilient, scalable and secure solutions
- Write and maintain technical design documentation: High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents, network diagrams, IP plans and architecture decision records
- Design L2/L3 network architectures: routing & switching, VLANs, segmentation, high availability and connectivity between sites
- Define the security architecture of the infrastructure: firewall policies, VPNs, access control and segmentation, working with the security team
- Design and evolve virtualization and Linux (Red Hat / RHEL) platforms, assessing new technologies such as containers and cloud-native solutions
- Act as technical reference for engineering and operations teams, guiding implementation and supporting complex troubleshooting
- Work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to assess options, estimate effort and present technical choices
What are we looking for in you? Experience and competencies
- 5+ years of experience as a network engineer, systems engineer or system administrator, with growing responsibility on design decisions
- Strong L2/L3 networking skills: TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, subnetting, NAT, DNS/DHCP
- Proven experience writing technical design documentation (HLD/LLD), with clear diagrams and specifications
- Hands-on experience with firewalls and VPNs ([Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.)
- Good knowledge of Linux, ideally Red Hat
- Experience with at least one virtualization platform
- Understanding of security principles: segmentation, access control, hardening
Nice to have:
- Active Directory, LDAP, SSO/MFA
- SD-WAN, NAC, Load Balancers
- Automation with Ansible, Python or Bash
- Containers and Kubernetes / OpenShift, cloud environments
- Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, NSE, PCNSE, RHCSA/RHCE, VCP
