JOB SUMMARY:
The candidate will work closely with other software engineers on the program to produce reliable mission software that meets customer requirements. They will also develop and maintain mission software with proper code quality, security, and testing in mind. Candidate should have experience developing and integrating applications and familiarity with containerization technology.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Must have or obtain within 90 days of start date IAT Level II Certification (Security+ CE or equivalent
- Understanding of the Java programming language
- Preferred - Experience with Java project management tools, such as Maven or Gradle
- Developing microservices using Java Spring Boot and Spring Cloud
- Developing technical solutions to meet defined requirements
- Writing event-driven applications utilizing a messaging service
- Work with REST API, containers, and containerizing applications
- Work within an Agile development team
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Experience developing, integrating, and maintaining applications
- Preferred - Experience developing application front-ends using React or other JavaScript-based web frameworks
- Preferred - Experience with JavaScript / Typescript / React project management tools, such as npm or yarn
- Preferred - Experience creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) within a DevSecOps pipeline
EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree preferred

LOCATION: Full Time/ On-Site in Colorado Springs, CO
CLEARANCE REQUIRMENT: Secret or ability to obtain
DOD 8570 REQUIREMENT: IAT - Level II
SALARY RANGE: $65,000 to $72,000
