The Position
This role is a field-based role with travel responsibilities.
The Opportunity
As a Patient Journey Partner (PJP), you will sit at the center of our ecosystem strategy, acting as an empowered leader and the local face of Roche. You will partner directly with healthcare stakeholders, turning our societal role upside down—moving beyond delivering medicines toward co-creating transformative solutions across the entire patient journey.
In this role, you will:
- Act as a primary, trusted partner to local healthcare stakeholders and Top Advisory Experts (TAEs), identifying shared purpose to co-create solutions that improve patient outcomes faster.
- Serve as a system thinker, bringing outside-in market insights to Roche while sharing Roche’s science, knowledge, and expertise directly with the local health ecosystem.
- Mobilize and secure resources locally and across the broader Roche enterprise to remove roadblocks along the patient journey.
- Oversee the patient journey holistically in defined disease areas, identifying opportunities to transform outcomes without treatment liability or off-label communication.
- Steward life-changing products throughout their lifecycle, sharing their merits with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) in a truthful, balanced manner.
- Formulate cross-functional strategies and guide cross-functional teams to deliver seamless, high-quality experiences across all Roche touchpoints.
Who You Are
You are a visionary collaborator driven by a personal purpose to improve healthcare systems and transform patient lives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- University degree in Science, Business, or Economics (Advanced degree in Life Sciences or MBA is a plus).
- Stakeholder & System Engagement: Proven experience engaging key healthcare stakeholders, TAEs, and organizations through deep listening and consultative persuasion.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Demonstrated track record of leading, orchestrating, or formulating cross-functional strategies to achieve shared goals.
- Therapeutic & Domain Knowledge: Expertise in medical affairs strategies, clinical research, or disease area patient journeys (Experience in Ophthalmology is preferred).
- Modern Ways of Working: Strong business acumen with familiarity in digital tools, agile methodologies, or customer experience excellence.
- Language Skills: Fluency in the local language with proficient English communication skills for global collaboration.
Together, we’ll advance along the whole patient journey with the aspiration to prevent, stop and cure diseases.
