Job Description
About the Role
This is the single technical thread from first discovery call through to a customer live in production — bridging pre-sales solutioning and post-signature delivery within a cold chain and logistics intelligence platform. You sit inside the Commercial Organization, working closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering, and you own what you scope.
What You'll Do
Run technical and process discovery with supply chain, quality, logistics, and IT stakeholders to surface current-state workflows, data sources, and constraints.
Deliver tailored product demonstrations mapped to the customer's real lanes, products, and release processes — not a generic script — and handle technical objections on the spot.
Own the initial solution design and solution map, defining which modules apply, what data is required, which integrations are in play, and what is phased versus out of scope.
Translate solution designs into scoped, sequenced statements of work and implementation plans, sizing effort honestly and surfacing long-lead dependencies before they become commitments.
Partner with Sales on proposals and order forms, ensuring everything committed commercially is technically deliverable.
Carry your own design into delivery — leading solution workshops and guiding configuration of lane qualification, command-and-control, and automated product release modules through to go-live.
Coordinate with Product, Data, and Engineering to sequence deliverables, manage technical handoffs, and feed real customer patterns back into the roadmap.
Build reusable assets — reference solution designs, discovery question banks, scoping templates, and integration patterns — to accelerate future engagements.
What We're Looking For
5+ years as a Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Account Manager delivering enterprise software implementations end-to-end.
Proven ability to run technical discovery with cross-functional stakeholders and translate requirements into solution designs that survive implementation.
Experience scoping and sequencing implementation plans, sizing effort, and identifying dependencies and long-lead items.
Proficiency delivering customer-tailored demos and handling technical objections in live sales situations.
Domain background in supply chain, cold chain, logistics, or quality management systems and workflows.
Hands-on experience configuring or implementing enterprise software modules (e.g., product release management, qualification systems, or command/control platforms).
Comfort with design and documentation tools (Figma, FigJam, or equivalent) and project tracking systems (Jira, Linear, or equivalent).
Familiarity with data integration patterns, API-driven architectures, or system interoperability challenges is a plus.
Experience in regulated industries — pharma, food, or healthcare — with compliance and traceability requirements is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary range: $140,000 – $180,000 USD annually.
