Job Description

ReOrbit is looking for an IT Admin and Support Specialist to provide hands-on IT support and administration for our growing Bangalore office.

As our IT Admin and Support Specialist, you will be the primary on-site IT presence in Bangalore, ensuring that employees, devices and local infrastructure are properly supported and ready to operate. You will take ownership of everything from hardware lifecycle management and employee onboarding to access controls, device management and local IT troubleshooting.

You will work closely with ReOrbit's IT Infrastructure, Operations & Support teams, particularly HQ in Helsinki, helping to implement global standards, policies and security requirements locally. You will also play an important role in establishing Bangalore as part of ReOrbit's follow-the-sun support model, providing remote support to colleagues across other locations when required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the local hardware inventory for the Bangalore office, including device setup, repair, replacement, lifecycle management and shipment coordination.

  • Provide hands-on support for regional IT projects, technology rollouts and infrastructure initiatives in Bangalore.

  • Own the onboarding and offboarding process for Bangalore employees, including device provisioning, account setup, security requirements and access controls.

  • Manage and support local physical security systems, including CCTV and access-related infrastructure.

  • Support the implementation of HQ-driven security policies, processes and IT standards at the Bangalore location.

  • Support Microsoft Active Directory design and administration, including Group Policy management and cloud or hybrid server environments.

  • Manage software licences and subscriptions for Bangalore-based users and devices.

  • Deploy and maintain standardised laptop and mobile device configurations.

  • Troubleshoot local server, infrastructure and end-user technology issues.

  • Manage Windows support tickets and provide timely resolution or escalation where required.

  • Administer MDM enrolment and device lifecycle processes for Bangalore devices.

  • Provide remote support to other ReOrbit locations as part of the follow-the-sun IT support model.

  • Coordinate with the global IT team and escalate infrastructure, security or service issues to Helsinki when required.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of local IT assets, configurations, procedures and support activities.

Skills and Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience in IT administration and end-user support, ideally supporting a regional, satellite or multi-site office.

  • Hands-on experience with hardware inventory management, device repair and replacement, and end-to-end device lifecycle management.

  • Experience managing employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including account provisioning, security and physical access controls.

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy and cloud or hybrid server administration.

  • Experience with MDM solutions such as Microsoft Intune or equivalent tools for device management and onboarding or offboarding.

  • Strong Windows end-user support and troubleshooting skills.

  • Comfortable working as the primary on-site IT presence and independently managing local priorities while escalating to global teams when needed.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to support and implement globally defined policies and processes locally.

  • Strong organisational and documentation skills.
