Job Description
ABOUT KALLES GROUP:
Everyone deserves to be secure. Our mission at Kalles Group is to help secure the future for companies of all shapes and sizes.
While our expertise spans multiple disciplines, our method remains consistent: building trust and relationship with people -- whether you are a client, a consultant, or--in this case--a candidate.
No matter what role you come from--whether you're an executive or just starting your career-you can expect our highest level of attention and respect. We want to find the right fit for each role, but we also want you to find the right fit for your career.
We believe the best way to show you what our team is like is to treat you like you're already a part of it. We hope you'll consider joining our team of experienced professionals who are building their careers at Kalles Group—and having fun while doing it.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Our client, a large global retailer, wants to build lasting requirements elicitation, documentation, and process discipline within its product organization — largely from the ground up. In this role, you'll partner directly with the client's Product Owner team, assessing how they currently gather and document requirements, then building the materials, tooling, and coaching program that helps them apply better practices to their live work going forward.
If you have hands-on experience gathering and documenting requirements within an agile framework, have coached or enabled others before, and are comfortable owning delivery independently across assessment, tooling, and live coaching, we want to speak with you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess current-state requirements elicitation, documentation, and process practices across the client's Product Owner team, through structured interviews with Product Owners and other stakeholders.
- Design and build documentation templates and requirements-elicitation standards, adapted to the client's specific products and workflows.
- Build and refine a supporting AI-assisted intake tool (e.g., in Gemini) that guides consistent requirements gathering.
- Personally plan and deliver all hands-on coaching, structured workshops, and office hours — no separate facilitators on this engagement, so you own the full coaching cadence start to finish.
- Iteratively refine materials and tooling based on real usage patterns and stakeholder feedback, adjusting pacing and sequencing as assessment findings warrant.
- Manage your own delivery schedule around the client's operational calendar and business constraints.
- Communicate clearly and credibly with client stakeholders, including Product Owners and their leadership, on findings, progress, and recommendations.
- Partner with a Delivery Lead on quality assurance of deliverables and support for key client meetings, while operating independently day to day.
- Recognize appropriate scope boundaries for the engagement — for example, flagging opportunities for broader rollout beyond the initial team rather than pursuing them unprompted.
ABOUT YOU:
Your values:
-
- Integrity: You believe in doing the right thing, even when it's uncomfortable, seemingly inefficient, or costly.
- Purposefulness: You have a desire to serve others with your skillset and an openness to continuous learning and growth.
- Ownership: You stick to your commitments, follow up with action, and seek clarity in communication & expectations.
YOUR EXPERIENCE:
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated first-hand experience with requirements gathering/elicitation within an Agile framework.
- Experience coaching, teaching, or enabling others — e.g., agile coaching, learning & development, or team enablement.
- Prior experience operating at a senior level, someone who has owned and driven requirements/process-improvement work directly, not solely contributed as a subject matter expert.
- Comfort and professionalism engaging directly with client stakeholders without requiring coaching on communication style.
- Experience working with AI tools (e.g., Gemini, Copilot, Claude) for requirements gathering, documentation, or workflow support.
- Familiarity with low-code/workflow platforms (e.g., Power Apps or similar) a plus, not required.
- Comfortable working independently with light day-to-day oversight, while maintaining consistent visibility and communication with leadership.
We'd be especially excited to talk to you if you have:
- A consulting background, comfortable being a trusted outside voice rather than an internal employee — versus someone who has only operated as an internal BSA or Scrum Master.
- Experience standing up an enablement or capability-building program from the ground up within a single team, with an eye toward eventual expansion to a broader group.
- Background working within large, complex, multi-product organizations.
- Comfort with a defined-duration engagement and the flexibility to scope your own workload independently.
WHAT WE OFFER:
- The annual salary range for this role is $125,000-$150,000.
- Medical, dental, vision plans.
- Work/life balance – we know there’s more to life than work! We encourage our team to pursue other passions, get outside, and spend time with family. We work with clients and consultants to set expectations for a manageable workload.
LOCATION:
