Job Description

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

ABOUT THE TEAM

The Lethality Team develops and tests advanced warhead and munitions systems for multiple Anduril platforms. We work across the full hardware lifecycle—from early concepts and rapid prototypes to system testing and production turning evolving mission needs into field-ready capability.

Our programs move quickly, span multiple engineering and operational teams, and rarely follow a perfectly linear path. Success requires clear priorities, disciplined execution, and someone who can keep the larger system moving while technical teams solve hard engineering problems.

ABOUT THE JOB

Anduril is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead cross-functional execution across a portfolio of warhead-development programs. You will connect the Energetics Team with vehicle programs and translate changing requirements, schedules, quantities, and priorities into clear and executable plans.

You will own the program structure that allows engineers to remain focused on technical work: aligning stakeholders, maintaining integrated schedules, tracking requirements and dependencies, surfacing risks early, and driving decisions to closure. Your programs may range from early concepts seeking funding to mature products preparing to deliver thousands of units.

This is a hardware-focused role for someone who understands how design, procurement, fabrication, integration, testing, and production depend on one another. You do not need to be a warhead designer. You do need the technical judgment to ask the right questions, recognize downstream consequences, and keep multiple teams moving toward a shared outcome.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Lead program execution across multiple warhead-development efforts, from early concept and prototype work through testing and production transition.
  • Build and maintain integrated plans that connect scope, schedules, requirements, resources, costs, technical dependencies, risks, and decision points.
  • Serve as the primary program interface between the Energetics Team and Anduril vehicle teams, aligning what must be delivered, when it is needed, how many units are required, and what changes affect the plan.
  • Track requirements across platform and warhead teams, identify gaps or conflicts, and drive the right owners toward timely resolution.
  • Translate evolving technical work into clear priorities, milestones, tradeoffs, and commitments for engineering and program stakeholders.
  • Anticipate hardware-development constraints—including supplier lead times, fabrication, inspection, integration, test readiness, and production capacity—and incorporate them into realistic schedules.
  • Keep rapid prototypes and risk-reduction testing connected to defined program questions, delivery milestones, and broader product outcomes.
  • Partner with engineering, Product, Test and Evaluation, Safety, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Production, and program teams to resolve dependencies and maintain alignment.
  • Surface schedule, resource, requirements, and execution risks early; frame options and drive decisions before they become delivery failures.
  • Create clear program communications, engineering documentation, schedules, cost estimates, risk summaries, and decision records for technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Lead post-test and post-milestone reviews that convert lessons learned into accountable actions and improved execution.
  • Help establish practical program-management methods for the growing Energetics portfolio and mentor less-experienced program leaders as the team expands.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years experience leading complex hardware-development programs or major workstreams through multiple lifecycle stages, such as concept development, prototyping, procurement, fabrication, integration, testing, or production.
  • Experience coordinating several concurrent programs, stakeholder groups, or subsystem teams in a fast-moving R&D or new-product-development environment.
  • Working knowledge of hardware-development and manufacturing timelines, with the ability to identify dependencies, build credible schedules, and anticipate downstream risks.
  • Experience aligning technical requirements, schedules, resources, risks, and deliverables across teams without relying on direct authority.
  • Evidence of bringing structure to ambiguous programs, adapting the level of process to the work, and driving decisions and commitments to closure.
  • Ability to communicate technical and program information clearly through written updates, visual plans, reviews, and direct stakeholder conversations.
  • Experience preparing engineering or program documentation, project schedules, and cost estimates.
  • Ability to travel for program reviews, testing, and customer or partner meetings, including surges up to 25%.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret security clearance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience leading hardware programs in defense, aerospace, space systems, robotics, automotive, advanced manufacturing, consumer hardware, or another high-consequence technical environment.
  • Experience supporting munitions, ordnance, energetics, weapons integration, or other complex electromechanical systems.
  • Experience managing programs across the full lifecycle, from early R&D through production readiness or scaled delivery.
  • Familiarity with requirements tracking, configuration or change management, verification planning, and risk-reduction testing.
  • Experience working with suppliers, long-lead hardware, manufacturing constraints, and production ramp decisions.
  • Active U.S. security clearance, including DoD Secret or Top Secret, or DOE L or Q.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Microsoft Project, Confluence, or similar planning and collaboration tools.
