Description -

The Cost Performance Manager is part of the EMEA Personal Systems (PS) organization within EMEA Service Supply Chain and plays a key role in ensuring efficient execution of operational cost management activities across the region.

Working closely with Operations, Finance, SCOAH, Procurement, Planning, and external partners, this role acts as the operational focal point for cost-related processes, ensuring consistency, visibility, and timely execution.

Role Summary

The Cost Performance Manager is responsible for coordinating and governing day-to-day operational cost activities across the EMEA Personal Systems Service Supply Chain. The role focuses on driving execution excellence by bridging multiple organizations, ensuring financial processes are executed accurately, and improving cost visibility and operational predictability.

Success in this role requires strong analytical capabilities, excellent cross-functional collaboration, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate operational cost management activities across the EMEA Personal Systems Service Supply Chain.

  • Act as the primary liaison between Operations, Finance, SCOAH, Procurement, Planning, and external partners for cost-related topics.

  • Manage Purchase Order lifecycle activities, including creation support, sizing validation, extensions, tracking, and closure.

  • Consolidate operational costs across multiple suppliers and workstreams to ensure accurate financial visibility.

  • Coordinate invoice validation, billing activities, and financial reconciliation with internal organizations and external partners.

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial planning cycles by providing accurate operational cost information.

  • Monitor cost execution against plans, identifying discrepancies and coordinating corrective actions with stakeholders.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to improve transparency of operational spending and cost performance.

  • Drive process standardization and continuous improvements to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.

  • Support business reviews by providing operational cost analysis, insights, and status updates.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.

  • Experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, Finance, or Business Operations.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; Power BI knowledge is highly desirable.

  • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP is an advantage.

  • Ability to analyze large datasets and translate them into actionable insights.

  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Proven ability to collaborate across multiple organizations and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
