Epic Referrals Analyst

Compensation: $50.00–$55.00 per hour

We partner with healthcare organizations to provide experienced consultants who bring both technical expertise and practical healthcare experience to complex initiatives.

We are currently seeking an experienced Epic Referrals Analyst to join a client project supporting an Epic Back to Foundation initiative.

About the Opportunity

This is a 6+ month contract opportunity for an Epic Referrals Analyst who can begin as soon as possible. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with the Epic Referrals application and be comfortable working in a project environment focused on optimizing and standardizing Epic functionality.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Epic analyst who enjoys project work, collaborating with healthcare stakeholders, and helping organizations maximize their Epic investment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Epic Referrals application throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Participate in analysis, design, configuration, testing, and implementation activities.
  • Support an Epic Back to Foundation initiative and related application work.
  • Analyze existing workflows and identify opportunities for standardization and improvement.
  • Collaborate with business and clinical stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into Epic solutions.
  • Develop and maintain application build and configuration documentation.
  • Participate in testing, troubleshooting, issue resolution, and validation activities.
  • Assist with workflow development and optimization within Epic Referrals.
  • Collaborate with other Epic analysts and project team members to ensure successful integration and functionality.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide status updates as needed.
  • Support go-live preparation and post-implementation activities as required.

Qualifications

  • Epic Referrals certification required.
  • Previous experience working as an Epic Referrals Analyst in a hospital or healthcare environment.
  • Strong understanding of Epic Referrals functionality, workflows, and configuration.
  • Experience with Epic implementations, optimization, maintenance, or project-based initiatives.
  • Ability to analyze complex workflows and translate business requirements into effective Epic solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with project teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience with Epic project documentation, testing, and issue resolution.
