About the Job

As a Principal DevOps Engineer at Allianz Technology, you will play a critical role in enhancing the efficiency and reliability of our mobile development processes. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless integration and deployment of mobile applications.

Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing performance, ensuring security, and implementing best practices in DevOps. Additionally, you will leverage AI technologies to enhance the automation and efficiency of our DevOps processes.

What you do

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications, ensuring seamless integration and deployment.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline the software development lifecycle. Monitor and optimize application performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Implement security and compliance measures to safeguard sensitive information. Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Utilize AI-driven tools and methodologies to enhance automation and efficiency in DevOps processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environments.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve DevOps practices.
• Mentor junior DevOps engineers and promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and a strong understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage and motivate team members.
• Experience in integrating AI algorithms and models to enhance DevOps processes and decision-making.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• Machine learning knowledge represents a strong advantage.
