Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to join our team in Shenzhen, China. This role is critical in driving strategic initiatives, managing complex programs, and ensuring successful delivery across new product phase (NPI, New Product Introduction) and sustaining phase (sPM, sustaining Program Management) of cutting-edge technology products.
Role Overview
As Program Manager, you will:
- Oversee multiple high-impact projects across development and post-launch phases
- Ensure successful customer engagement, quality delivery, and operational excellence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product launches and sustain mature products
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Program Management
- Develop and implement program strategies aligned with organizational goals and company strategies
- Define program goals, objectives, and success criteria with senior leadership
- Establish governance structures including steering committees and stakeholder communications
Project Execution & Delivery
- Manage multiple complex projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and resources to meet program milestones
- Monitor program performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Facilitate phase reviews and ensure smooth transitions from phase to phase
- Create and maintain program documentation (plans, schedules, status reports)
Customer Engagement & Issue Resolution
- Fulfill customer requests including sample/data delivery, analytics, and issue resolution
- Lead investigations into issues and ensure effective closure
- Manage engineering changes and customer-side qualifications
Operational Excellence
- Oversee mature products to meet ongoing customer and business needs
- Partner with teams to maintain supply continuity, ensure quality standards, and pursue cost reductions
- Identify and pursue opportunities to optimize overall business output
- Drive continuous improvement and proactively mitigate risks
Other
- Supervisor or leaders assigned other jobs.
- Master’s degree in STEM or related field
Logically rigorous
Fluency in English and Mandarin
Proven success managing complex, multi-faceted programs
Strong leadership and team motivation abilities
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Deep knowledge of program management methodologies and best practices
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Comfortable in fast-paced, dynamic environments with shifting priorities
Years of experience in program management or a similar role
HDD or semi-conductor knowledge are preferred
Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, etc.
PMP or other relevant certification is a plus
- Familiar with AI is a plus
