We are looking for a strong Software Engineering Manager to lead an established team of engineers working on business-critical enterprise systems in a global technology organization. Industry: Technology & Telecoms Area: IT Project & Programme Management Your responsibilities What you'll be responsible for Lead and manage a software engineering team of approximately 10-20 people, including engineers and enterprise technology specialists. Set direction, priorities and expectations, while holding the team accountable for delivery and performance. Build a strong, high-performing team through effective hiring, feedback, coaching and performance management. Work closely with engineers and architects on technical topics, asking the right questions and challenging solutions where appropriate. Partner with business stakeholders to understand needs and turn them into practical technology outcomes. Drive improvements in engineering practices, automation, SDLC and delivery processes. Support the modernization of enterprise applications and platforms used across functions such as manufacturing, logistics and finance. Operate with autonomy while collaborating with technology leadership and stakeholders across a global organization.
