Due to our ongoing growth and the large number of recruitment projects we undertake for our partners, we are currently looking for:Mainframe Operational Support SpecialistResponsibilities:Handle incidents in the mainframe environment and drive their resolutionPerform problem management activities and support root cause analysisAnalyze incidents and identify corrective actionsMonitor system output using SDSFBrowse and investigate datasets using TSO/ISPFSupport defect diagnosis and resolution using Abend-AID and File-AIDOperate and monitor workloads using OPC/TWSWork with mainframe technologies including COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, IMS and Base SASAdapt to new tools and technologies used within the operational support environment Requirements:Proven experience in Incident Handling and Problem ManagementStrong analytical skills for incident analysis and troubleshootingDeep understanding of mainframe technologies: COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, IMSHands-on experience with Base SASPractical knowledge of TSO/ISPF and SDSF for dataset browsing and system output monitoringExperience with OPC/TWSExperience with Abend-AID for defect investigation and resolutionExperience with File-AID for defect fixingAbility to learn new tools and adapt to evolving technologiesProactive approach to problem-solvingVery good command of English, both spoken and writtenNice to have:Practical experience with REXX scripting and Shell scriptingPractical experience with PythonUnderstanding of distributed systems in hybrid environmentsFamiliarity with DevOps methodologiesFamiliarity with Agile ways of workingExperience with cloud integration and mainframe modernization initiatives Offer:Private medical careCo-financing for the sports cardConstant support of dedicated consultantEmployee referral program
