We are looking for an experienced Data Test Automation Engineer with strong experience in ETL and data testing within Azure-based data platforms.Project information:Type of project: IT ServicesOffice location: Wrocław or PoznańWork model: hybrid mode (max. 2 days/ week in the office) Budget: 115- 135 PLN net/ h - b2bOnly candidates with citizenship in the European Union and residence in PolandStart date: ASAP Project scope:Design, develop, and execute automated test solutions for ETL and data integration processesValidate data ingestion, transformation, and loading processes across multiple data sourcesDevelop and maintain test automation frameworks for data platformsCreate and execute test cases for Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory pipelinesWrite complex SQL queries to perform data analysis, validation, and defect investigationUse Python to automate data testing, validation, comparison, and reporting activitiesPerform source-to-target data validation and ensure data integrity across systemsSupport CI/CD and automation initiatives for data platform testingConduct functional and non-functional testing of Azure-based data solutionsCreate and maintain clear, accurate, and comprehensive test documentation, test strategies, and execution reportsCompetence demands:Proven experience as a Data Test Automation Engineer, Data QA Engineer, or similar roleStrong hands-on experience in ETL testing and data validationHands-on expertise of functional and non-functional testing in Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), SQL, and Python, with a focus on data validation, reconciliation, transformation testing, and automationGood understanding of version control (e.g. Git)Experience designing and maintaining automated testing frameworksExperience supporting automated testing within CI/CD environmentsAbility to produce clear, accurate and comprehensive test documentationExperience with Xray test management, ideally in a parameterised, scalable wayKnowledge of synthetic test data creation; data masking techniquesVery good English skillsNice to have:Experience in Power BI (PBI) Report TestingKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOpsDomain experience: corporate banking or investment banking (products, reference data, market data, etc.)PySparkWe offer:Hybrid working model Dynamic and innovation-driven engineering environmentFull-time job agreement based on b2bPrivate medical care with dental care (covering 70% of costs)Multisport card (also for an accompanying person)Life insurance
