Work Type: Office
The salary range for this position is based on experience level ranging from $87,000 to $109,500 plus up to 16% bonus

Job Summary:
Establishes, administers and monitors company-wide standards, procedures and performance, within areas of expertise, to minimize risk and ensure compliance with environmental health and safety areas as it relates to their regulatory and legal requirements. Specializes and focuses on occupational health and safety. Provides specialized technical expertise and support for the elimination of hazards and prevention of injuries, program development, and performance tracking and reporting. Provides assistance to affiliate companies.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include coordinating/overseeing contractors and consultants.
Interfaces with the appropriate regulatory agencies, minimizing corporate risks and public liabilities.
Develops Corporate compliance programs, including safety, industrial hygiene, and/or environmental procedures that minimize risks, specify appropriate personal protective equipment and safe work procedures.
Serves as the Company's primary technical expert in the area of safety, industrial hygiene, and/or environmental matters.
Conducts worker safety training both in house and in the field.
Produces reports and enforces all regulations
Leads Root Cause accident and incident investigations and provides executive level reports.
Prepares compliance reports, tracks regulations and standards, and participates in the Company's 24-hour emergency response program.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 6 years relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Able to work independently, and exercise considerable judgment and decision-making.
Able to direct outside consultants and evaluate their progress.
Strong training and organizational and negotiation skills.
Able to work under tight deadlines with changing priorities
