JOB TITLE: KYC Onboarding Analyst – 12 Month Fixed Term Contract or Secondment
Salary: £33,203
LOCATION(S): Edinburgh and Birmingham
HOURS: Full-time, 35 hours
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time in the office.

What you’ll be doing:
An exciting role has become available within our Client On-Boarding Team, to carry out Know Your Customer (KYC) On-boarding activities for the Corporate & Institutional Banking business area.
In this role, you’ll apply Global Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Standards with our policies and procedures to complete due diligence.
You’ll spot high-risk factors that could lead to a critical issue and provide a client-first service.
In this role you’ll:
Deliver accurate, high-quality work that supports positive outcomes for clients and colleagues
Build positive relationships and provide excellent service to a wide range of stakeholders
Act as a trusted point of contact, offering mentorship on processes and procedures
Prioritise while maintaining high standards and meeting deadlines
Support Know Your Business (KYB) and KYC activities, helping ensure compliance with regulatory and policy requirements
Develop your expertise through ongoing training and learning opportunities.

What we’re looking for?
Knowledge of KYB/KYC requirements and an understanding of corporate structures and entity types
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and confidently
Experience building effective relationships and managing stakeholder expectations
A risk and compliance mindset, with the confidence to identify and escalate issues when needed
Excellent organisation and attention to detail, able to manage competing priorities
A customer-focused approach and a dedication to delivering high-quality outcomes.
And experience of the following would be great:
Continuous improvement approaches such as Lean, Six Sigma or Systems Thinking.
Understanding of company-wide policies and how to apply them in practice
Technical understanding in how the Group is organised.
