Business Analyst - Insurance Domain

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology teams to identify opportunities for digital transformation and process improvement within the insurance domain.
• Analyse existing systems, processes and workflows to identify bottlenecks and improvement areas.
• Gather, analyse and document business requirements for digital solutions.
• Develop business requirements, functional specifications and user stories aligned with business objectives.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, Product Owners and development teams to drive project implementation.
• Lead change management activities for digital transformation initiatives.
• Conduct impact assessments and stakeholder analysis.
• Develop communication plans, training materials and workshops to support change adoption.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of transformation initiatives.
• Champion Agile/Scrum methodologies and promote continuous improvement.
• Facilitate workshops, discussions and stakeholder meetings.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and development teams to prioritize and refine user stories.
• Drive retrospectives, feedback sessions and continuous Agile process improvements.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Insurance domain.
• Strong experience in Insurance Digital Transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of Insurance processes, products and workflows.
• Experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis and process modelling.
• Strong experience in BRD, FRD, Functional Requirements and User Stories.
• Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience working with Product Owners, Developers and cross-functional teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience in Change Management and Impact Assessment.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional/technical specifications.
• Excellent analytical, presentation and facilitation skills.
• Middle East/GCC Insurance experience is highly preferred.
• Willingness to relocate to UAE is mandatory.
  
  Preferred Qualifications
• CBAP / CSM / CSPO or similar certification.
• Experience working on large-scale insurance digital transformation projects.
• UAE / GCC / Middle East insurance experience.
• Preferred Tamil-speaking candidates

• Professional certifications in business analysis (e.g., CBAP) or agile methodologies (e.g., CSM, CSPO) are advantageous.
• Experience working on large-scale digital transformation projects in the insurance sector.
