Job Description
About Teramind Teramind is a global leader in workforce intelligence, insider risk management, and data loss prevention. Used by thousands of companies across 60+ countries, our platform gives organizations the visibility to protect their people, their data, and their operations. We sit at the intersection of three converging markets - Insider Risk, DLP, and Workforce Analytics - and we are one of the few players that spans all three on a unified behavioral data layer. The Teramind Endpoint Agent is one of the key differentiators of our platform. It runs on hundreds of thousands of endpoints across Windows, macOS, and Linux, capturing the behavioral signal that powers our detection, DLP enforcement, analytics, and AI. The depth and quality of what the Agent sees is a primary reason customers choose Teramind over the alternatives - and the product leader who owns it plays a pivotal role in the company's success. About the Role We are hiring a Senior Product Manager to own the Teramind Endpoint Agent, and the AI Usage Control capabilities built on top of it, end to end. You will be the single accountable product leader for the roadmap, priorities, and outcomes of the Agent organization - approximately half of Teramind engineering, working across operating systems, low-level platform components, and the server-side telemetry pipeline. This is a pivotal role. The Agent is one of the strongest competitive moats Teramind has, and the next chapter of the product strategy depends on what we build into it. You are coming in to bring product rigor, customer insight, prioritization discipline, and technical judgment to a team that is capable of shipping world-class endpoint technology. AI Usage Control is one of the most important things you will build here. Companies have spent twenty years governing what employees do with sensitive data, and they now have a second workforce: AI agents reading files, calling tools, and executing commands on the same machines, with none of the accountability. Nobody has worked out what supervising them looks like, and much of it never touches the network, so the endpoint is the only place you can see it. You will own that end to end. You will sit alongside other product managers, reporting to the VP of Product. Together, you own Teramind's product surface area. What You Will Own The Agent roadmap across all platforms. Windows, macOS, Linux, and the platforms after them. You decide what ships, in what order, and why, balancing customer demand, platform modernization, performance, and security hardening on one prioritized backlog. The endpoint layer of AI Usage Control. Detecting AI that never touches the network - native desktop clients, IDE-embedded assistants, terminal-based coding agents, AI-native Teramind | Senior Product Manager, AI and Endpoint browsers, and local models running offline - and capturing the prompts, pastes, uploads, and agent-executed commands that browser and network DLP cannot see. Translating business vision into engineering reality. You turn signals from executives, sales, customers, competitors and the engineering org into a coherent technical roadmap. You are the interpreter between “we need to detect AI exfiltration” and “here is how we instrument the endpoint to see it.” Building for the enterprise: bulletproof and undetectable. Enterprise customers expect the Agent to be invisible to end users, resilient against tampering, and reliable in conditions that break weaker products. You own the roadmap that keeps it that way. Performance, footprint, and reliability. Every CPU cycle, megabyte and battery percent we consume is felt by the end user and argued about by the customer's IT team. You set and defend the performance bar. Define, measure, and meet product KPIs. Adoption, rollout velocity, deployment success rate, crash rates, detection coverage, time-to-patch on OS changes. You set the numbers and hold the team and the company to them. Industry and ecosystem relationships. Microsoft, Apple, the Linux ecosystem, MDM vendors, and the major AV and EDR vendors. You represent Teramind in technical conversations where the agent's architecture is the subject. Who You Are 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 owning a technical platform, SDK, agent, or systems-level product. This is a senior IC seat: influence without headcount. Technical depth is non-negotiable. You do not need to write C++, but you should reason about Windows architecture, macOS system extensions, and the trade-offs between Endpoint Security and Network Extension frameworks. You can push back credibly in a design review. You understand how AI actually runs on a computer. A hosted model in a browser tab, a native desktop client, an IDE-embedded assistant, a CLI coding agent, and a local model under Ollama are five different detection problems, and several are invisible to anything watching the network. You know why, and you know what an audit trail for an autonomous agent has to capture. Endpoint or systems background. You have shipped endpoint security (EDR, EPP, XDR), monitoring or management agents, OS-level tools, or systems software. CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Defender, Tanium and similar are directly relevant. Pure SaaS and application PMs without systems exposure will struggle here. You think in outcomes, not features. Success is “95% of customers roll out a new agent version within 30 days,” not “shipped version 27.0.” You are comfortable with security trade-offs. Visibility versus privacy, tamper protection versus usability, cloud processing versus on-device intelligence. You can hold the attacker's perspective and the IT buyer's perspective in the same conversation. You work with AI,not just about it. You use AI in your own practice, prototyping to pressure-test concepts before spending engineering cycles, and evaluating model behavior rather than trusting vendor claims. You bring rigor, and you write. PRDs, decision memos, prioritization frameworks, release cadence, credible engineering-facing specs. In a distributed team, writing is how product management scales. Nice to Have Engineering background earlier in your career: systems, kernel, driver, or low-level platform work Windows Filter Drivers, Minifilters or WFP; macOS Endpoint Security or Network Extensions; Linux eBPF, kernel modules or userspace agents MDM ecosystems (Jamf, Intune, Workspace ONE, Kandji) Insider risk, DLP, or behavioral analytics Local model runtimes and on-device inference (Ollama, LM Studio, llama.cpp) Agentic AI: tool calling, MCP, and autonomous coding or workflow agents AI governance, AI security, or shadow AI discovery products EDR and AV co-existence and exclusion lists at scale Why This Role Endpoint agents are having a moment. The convergence of insider risk, DLP, AI, and hybrid work is making the endpoint the most strategically important surface in enterprise security and workforce intelligence. Teramind's Agent is one of the deepest data-collection engines in the market - we see things the rest of the category does not - and it is one of the strongest competitive moats we have. You are coming in to take a genuinely differentiated technical platform and make it the backbone of the next generation of workforce intelligence. The engineering talent is here. The customer demand is here. The strategic priority is here. Your role is pivotal to where Teramind goes next. Interested? We'd love to hear what you have shipped, what you have owned, and why this role fits what you want to do next. Send us your resume and a short note.
