Job Description

Product/Performance Marketing Manager - Business Personal Systems (BPS) Commercial Workspaces

Description -

You’re out to reimagine and reinvent what’s possible in your career as well as the world around you. So are we. We love taking on tough challenges, disrupting the status quo, and creating what’s next.

The Global Business Personal Systems Product Marketing Team is in search of talented people who are inspired by big challenges, driven to learn and grow, and dedicated to making a meaningful difference.

We are responsible for driving the end-to-end product marketing strategy and planning across the portfolio lifecycle and enabling Markets to grow sales by aligning product/solution positioning org-wide and developing high-impact, competitive, product-specific content before, during, and after announcement.

Role Summary

You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can take initiative with little direction. You have a strong gut, but your strategies are backed by data, and you iterate on your approach by gathering feedback from various sources including AI tools.

As the Commercial Workspace Product Marketing Manager, you will develop the end-to-end product and solution marketing strategy for the ecosystem around the PC, spanning docks, displays, peripherals, software solutions, and security, with a heavy emphasis on SMB customers. You will create the integrated portfolio marketing plan, positioning strategy, value propositions, key selling points, go-to-market guidance, and product marketing insights that connect these product and solution lines into a cohesive workspace story before, during, and after announcement.

In addition, you will broaden that strategy into Performance Marketing by developing integrated demand generation campaigns, managing campaign briefs through execution, activating across digital, social, email, channel, and events, and influence optimizing media and content based on performance. You will track campaign KPIs and business impact, coordinate agencies and creative production, support market and channel activation, and help deliver pipeline and revenue outcomes.

You’ll work hand-in-hand with the Product/Software Marketing Managers for each individual product and solution line, as well as product management, sales, channel marketing, regional marketing, and Demand Capture teams, to align strategies and activation plans, ensure our solutions meet SMB and Enterprise customer needs, and help HP stand out in a competitive landscape.

You’ll also work closely with your creative execution teammates, who serve as the conduit to our agencies, delivering project briefs that outline your workspace strategy, approach, campaign requirements, and asset plans to inform creative briefs that bring your vision to life.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver end-to-end workspace strategic marketing plans across the lifecycle of the Commercial portfolio, connecting docks, displays, peripherals, software solutions, and security into an integrated ecosystem around the PC, with a heavy emphasis on SMB.

  • Create new and contribute to existing marketing documentation, including website and store copy, white papers, campaign assets, and more, to articulate the benefits of products in workspaces, the problems they solve, and the experiences and capabilities they enable.
  • Use AI tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, and DeepSights to create more efficient workstreams, bring innovative ideas forward, and review ideas, strategies, and briefs.
  • Understand, advocate for, and represent the voice of the customer throughout all aspects of the customer journey.
  • Identify gaps and opportunities to streamline current BPS processes and improve funnel conversion.
  • Take initiative to solve problems when conflicting needs arise, clarify asks and rationale, and navigate with calm, discipline, and a sense of what is right for HP.
