You will play a pivotal role in advancing engineering excellence across the Security platform, contributing to strategic programs that shift towards open-source, cloud-based automation and high-performance product development. This position offers a unique chance to influence security architecture and evolve best practices in a dynamic environment, fostering both personal growth and impactful innovation.Your main responsibilities:Hands-on development of production-grade software, maintaining a passionate, code-centric approach.Contribute to open-source projects, share knowledge via blogs or Github portfolio, and engage with the developer community.Design, develop, and optimize services on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), ensuring resilience and cost-efficiency.Architect and manage OAuth2/OpenID Connect flows within GCP, ensuring secure and scalable identity solutions.Implement high-performance backend services using Python (Django), Node.js (Typescript/NestJS), and Go-Lang.Optimize PostgreSQL queries for high concurrency and build event-driven architectures utilizing Pub/Sub.Lead initiatives to automate and improve deployment, testing, and operational processes, reducing toil.Stay current with industry trends (Go-Lang, Rust, Typescript) and share innovative ideas with your team.Mentor colleagues, promote best practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.Maintain a comprehensive understanding of security principles, including Zero Trust models, ensuring security as a feature.You're ideal for this role if you have:Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering, with proven success in backend and cloud infrastructure projects.Expertise in Python (Django), Node.js (Typescript/NestJS), and ideally Go-Lang.Hands-on experience with GCP services (Cloud Run, GKE, Filestore) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).Strong knowledge of security frameworks, OAuth2/OpenID Connect, and Zero Trust principles.Ability to design scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services.Full-stack understanding with a focus on backend development and architecture design.Proven track record of shipping production software and contributing to open-source communities.Excellent problem-solving skills with a holistic view of technical issues.It is a strong plus if you have:Experience with Rust or additional cloud platforms.Certifications related to cloud security or architecture.Proven experience in automating deployment pipelines and infrastructure management.Language Required for the role:Fluent level of English (spoken and written).Eligibility to work in Europe:Only candidates with an existing legal right to work in the European Union will be considered for this role.#MAKEYourCareerBETTERInterested?
