DevOps Engineer - GCP

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled GCP DevOps Engineer to design, implement, automate, and support cloud-native platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The engineer will be responsible for building secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure, enabling CI/CD pipelines, supporting Kubernetes platforms, and driving DevSecOps best practices. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in GCP Services, Kubernetes (GKE), Terraform, CI/CD, Infrastructure Automation, Monitoring, Security, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) . Key Responsibilities Cloud Platform Engineering Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on GCP. Provision and manage resources using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Configure and maintain: GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine) Compute Engine Cloud Storage Cloud Load Balancers VPC Networks Cloud DNS Cloud SQL IAM \& Service Accounts Optimize cloud resource utilization and costs. Kubernetes \& Containerization Deploy and manage containerized applications on GKE. Create and maintain Helm Charts. Implement: Auto-scaling Node pool management Rolling deployments Blue-Green deployments Canary deployments Troubleshoot cluster, networking, and application issues. CI/CD \& Release Automation Build and support CI/CD pipelines using: GitHub Actions Jenkins GitLab CI Cloud Build Harness Implement automated: Build Test Security Scanning Deployments Rollback strategies Drive deployment standardization and release governance. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Develop reusable Terraform modules. Automate infrastructure provisioning. Maintain environment consistency across Dev, Test, UAT, and Production. Monitoring \& Observability Configure monitoring using: Cloud Monitoring Cloud Logging Prometheus Grafana Dynatrace Splunk Establish dashboards, alerts, and SLAs/SLOs. Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for incidents.
