Who We Are Looking For

We're hiring a visual and motion designer who creates with AI every day. Your eye and your craft are the job; AI is how you work faster and go further.

You're a designer at heart with serious visual and motion skills. You know good work when you see it, and you know how to get there when you don't. Generative AI is a core part of how you create: you generate, edit, composite, and animate until every frame meets your bar.

You'll shape how our content looks and moves, and help our AI team understand what "great" actually means.

What you'll do

  • Design and animate video content, motion graphics, and visual assets, mixing traditional tools with generative AI.

  • Review AI-generated images and video with a critical eye (composition, motion, timing, continuity, color, typography) and fix what's off.

  • Partner with the AI and product teams to define what "great" looks like, and give specific feedback that raises output quality.

  • Create visual references, style guides, and templates (motion presets, transitions, type systems) that make quality repeatable.

  • Try new AI image and video tools as they launch, and turn what you learn into better content and product ideas.

  • Work with product, design, and marketing on launches, demos, and showcase content.

What you'll bring

  • 4+ years in visual design, motion design, or a related craft.

  • A portfolio with strong motion work: animation, motion graphics, video editing, or title design.

  • Excellent visual taste across layout, typography, color, composition, and pacing.

  • Strong ability to build tools and demos through vibe coding to communicate and demonstrate ideas effectively.

  • Hands-on project experience crafting visuals and web animations using AI coding tools.

  • A clear sense of what AI does well and where it falls short: you know when to prompt, when to edit, and when to do it by hand.

  • Storytelling instincts: rhythm, timing, and how motion and cuts guide attention.

  • Comfort with fast iteration and tools that change every month.

Bonus points

  • You have professional experience producing talking head videos, or you are a creator yourself.

  • You've built node-based workflows in ComfyUI, Fal, Weavy, or similar tools.

  • You've chained models, automated batch generation, or written scripts in Python or JavaScript.

  • You've trained LoRAs or fine-tuned models for style or character consistency.

  • You work in 3D with Blender or Cinema 4D.

  • You come from film, advertising, gaming, or short-form social video.

What to send us

Your portfolio matters more than your resume. Please include:

  • A reel or links that show your motion and video work.

  • At least 3 pieces where AI was part of your process. For each, add a short note on what was AI, what you did by hand, and how you took it from rough to final.

  • Bonus: a before-and-after showing a raw generation next to your finished version.

This role might not be for you if

  • Your work is mostly static, with little motion or video experience.

  • You see prompting as the whole job, not one part of the craft.

  • You ship the first decent generation instead of pushing it to great.

  • You mainly want to build infrastructure or ML systems rather than create visual work.

  • You haven't used AI tools in real projects, or you don't want to.

The details

  • Location: on-site in Mountain View, CA

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage

  • A chance to shape one of the fastest-moving categories in AI
