We are on the lookout for an Associate Backend Software Engineer to join our Product Engineering Team on our exciting growth journey. You will build and maintain the backend behind our employee engagement platform, used by frontline workers and HQ on web and mobile. Engineers at Relesys own the quality of what they ship. You will be part of a new and growing Engineering team in Lithuania which has strong ties to the Danish team in Copenhagen and Odense 💻
As Associate Backend Engineer at Relesys, you will develop and maintain the backend services that power our platform, working closely with cross-functional teams using the .NET tech stack. You will start with well-scoped changes and take on larger work as you build independence.

Your responsibilities
Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using .NET / C#"
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to deployment and monitoring
Own the quality of your changes: write unit and automated tests, review others' code, and verify your work before it reaches customers
Collaborate with an amazing team of developers, software testers, and other team members
Use AI coding assistants in your daily work and verify every suggestion through tests and code review
Who are you?
You have 1+ years of experience in backend development using the .NET stack.
Proficiency in working with relational databases, preferably (Azure) SQL Server.
Understanding of web application and REST API basics
Experience with version control systems like Git
You already use AI coding assistants (for example Claude Code, GitHub Copilot or Cursor) and can explain what you verified and how, not just what you generated
You have good communication skills in verbal and written English
It is a plus if you have experience with event-driven or messaging basics, or frontend work in Angular or React
