DevOps Engineer

Job Description

Working with a large organisation that delivers critical UK public sector programmes, we are looking for an experienced professional to strengthen platform delivery, automation, and secure release capabilities. The Role Design and improve CI/CD pipelines for reliable, repeatable deployments Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for automated environment provisioning Support containerised platforms and orchestration to improve scalability and resilience Embed security and compliance controls into engineering workflows (DevSecOps) Drive observability improvements across monitoring, logging, and alerting Advise engineering teams on DevOps best practices and help remove delivery bottlenecks What You ll Need 5-10 years in DevOps, systems engineering, or software engineering Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation) Expertise in containers and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) including networking, compute, storage, and security Proficiency with CI/CD tooling (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, CircleCI) Experience with monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) What s On Offer Opportunity to work on a critical public sector programme Fully remote working option Engage with cutting-edge cloud and DevOps technologies Apply via Haystack today!
