As a Principal Product Technical Leader in Site Technical Services, you will serve as the technical product portfolio owner, setting product philosophy and strategy while acting as the site point of contact within network governance and cross‑functional project teams. You will lead site‑level projects and complex problem solving in collaboration with network stakeholders, providing strong technical leadership and influence. While managing technical projects or issues in a complex environment, you will be able to anticipate and troubleshoot roadblocks and influence teams to achieve site objectives and project goals.
This role is accountable for establishing, maintaining, and continuously improving site-level product technical strategies and product lifecycle management, ensuring site‑ and network‑aligned control strategies, validated‑state compliance, effective risk management, and sustained technical excellence. In addition, you will drive site-level product supply reliability by delivering process robustness improvements, cost‑of‑goods and loss‑reduction initiatives, and hands‑on technical support for troubleshooting, investigations, inspections, and continuous improvement efforts.
What You Will Achieve
In this role, you will:
Define and champion portfolio philosophy, product strategy, and long-range technical direction, influencing network standards and industry best practices.
Represent the site in network governance forums and cross-functional teams, providing leadership, mentoring, and technical development for junior staff.
Lead complex site and network initiatives, driving project execution, issue resolution, and strategic decision-making with key stakeholders.
Own site-level product lifecycle management, including control strategy governance, validated-state compliance, risk management, and regulatory strategy alignment across site and network.
Drive site-level product supply reliability and operational performance through process robustness improvements, cost-of-goods optimization, loss reduction, and manufacturability enhancements.
Provide technical stewardship for commercial and clinical product portfolios by leading troubleshooting, investigations, inspection readiness, and continuous improvement activities.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
BA/BS with 6+ years of experience or MBA/MS with 5+ years of experience
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment across various business functions
Experience in project management and leading complex projects
Ability to develop and manage plans to achieve objectives
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)
12+ years of relevant pharmaceutical experience
Experience in problem-solving, negotiations, presentation and working in a matrix based multi-layered organization, including comprehensive understanding of DAMIC (six sigma) tools and practices and a focus on continuous improvement.
Broad knowledge of technology transfer process and manufacturing for biopharmaceuticals drug substances compounds; Strong technical understanding of pharmaceutical processes and the impact of technical change.
Demonstrated experience and competence in organizing, planning and problem solving related to biopharmaceuticals drug substances compounds.
Demonstrated experience on regulatory submission strategy, audit responses and technical discussion with board of health.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to perform mathematical calculations, scientific computation, complex data analysis, verbal communication, written communication.
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Occasional domestic and international travels
Occasional off-hour support to address time-sensitive production and business-related issues
