What to Expect as a Software Engineer, Fintech:

You're about to embark on a bold, challenging, and game-changing journey. By joining our Software Engineer team, you’ll be a hands-on engineer helping build, deploy, and maintain modern fintech applications while using AI-enabled development tools to improve quality, speed, documentation, code review, and delivery. This role is ideal for a collaborative problem solver who can contribute across the full application lifecycle and support secure, reliable cloud-based applications.

What You’ll Contribute in This Role:

Build Reliable Fintech Applications

  • Design, build, test, and maintain backend services, APIs, React apps, and internal tools using Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB, or comparable technologies.
  • Own the development of major product features and technical improvements across the application stack.
  • Support secure and reliable software delivery practices appropriate for a fintech environment.

Deploy, Support, and Improve Cloud-Based Systems

  • Deploy and support applications in cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, or similar platforms.
  • Participate in in CI/CD, deployment automation, monitoring, logging, and production support activities.
  • Help improve developer workflows, shared patterns, documentation, and engineering practices over time.

Advance AI-First Engineering Practices

  • Use AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, CodeRabbit, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar platforms to improve quality, speed, and documentation.
  • Contribute to AI-enabled product features, workflow automation, and internal productivity tools that strengthen how we build software and deliver value to customers.
  • Collaborate with teammates in code reviews, design discussions, release planning, and troubleshooting.

What You’ll Leverage in This Role:

Education and Experience

  • 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Experience building and maintaining backend services, APIs, web applications, or internal tools.
  • Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB, or comparable technologies.
  • Familiarity with deploying applications to Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, or similar cloud platforms.
  • Basic understanding of CI/CD, source control, testing, logging, monitoring, and production support.

What to Expect in Your Work Environment

This role requires the ability to perform essential functions such as sitting, talking, hearing, and occasionally lifting up to 2 lbs. Pay Transparency

The base pay for this role starts at $80,000 and is commensurate based on experience required in the role.
