The Opportunity:

Miris is seeking skilled Backend Engineers to join our dynamic and fully remote engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience in implementing a website backend in Go, web application security, and network architecture. You will play a crucial role in supporting customers who use Miris to deliver 3D content for linear storytelling on various AR/VR devices.

What You'll Do:

Design backend services and the API layer for a multi-tenant streaming service
Implement full customer-facing and enterprise-facing web server backend operating at scale
Web app architecture and security
Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and enhance existing codebases to improve global performance, scale, reliability, and maintainability

What You'l Bring:

7+ years minimum experience with backend services and API development
Experience building high-traffic web services in Go
Knowledge and understanding of distributed, highly available, and scalable cloud-based systems
Knowledge and understanding of architecture and patterns for complex web services
Experience designing and implementing RESTish APIs
Experience working with containers and CDNs

Target Base Salary Range

$102,693—$287,488 USD
