Job Description
About Kiwi
Kiwi Financial, Inc. is a fintech lender building access to credit for Latin American immigrants in the United States. We combine data-driven underwriting with a human, bilingual experience to help our customers build credit history and reach their financial goals. As we scale our lending programs, we're growing the team responsible for how we fund that growth.
The Role
Kiwi is hiring a VP, Capital Markets to lead our funding strategy and manage relationships with the credit funds, banks, and institutional lenders that finance our loan book. You'll own our warehouse facilities and borrowing bases end-to-end — from negotiating terms to managing ongoing compliance and reporting — and help shape how Kiwi accesses capital as it scales. This is a high-visibility role reporting into finance leadership, ideal for someone who has run this exact function at a fintech lender or on the lender-facing side of a credit fund or bank.
What You'll Do
Own and manage Kiwi's warehouse facilities and borrowing base reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and full compliance with facility covenants and eligibility criteria.
Lead relationships with existing and prospective institutional lenders — credit funds, banks, and DFIs — including negotiating new facilities, amendments, and terms.
Forecast funding needs against loan origination plans and manage available capacity across facilities.
Partner with Risk, Finance, and Legal to structure facilities and covenants that support Kiwi's growth while protecting the balance sheet.
Prepare materials for lender due diligence, board updates, and investor conversations related to funding strategy.
Monitor the LATAM and US consumer credit funding landscape to identify new capital partners and structures (including securitization, as the platform matures).
What We're Looking For
5+ years in capital markets, treasury, or funding roles at a fintech lender, or on the lender-facing side of a credit fund, bank, or DFI covering fintech/consumer lending clients.
Direct, hands-on experience with warehouse facilities, borrowing bases, or forward-flow arrangements — you've done this job, not just adjacent to it.
Fluent, professional written and spoken English and Spanish.
Strong quantitative and financial modeling skills; comfort working closely with Risk and Legal on covenant structuring.
Experience with or exposure to securitization / structured finance is a plus, not a requirement.
Based in (or willing to be based in) Mexico, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic or Argentina.
