What You'll Be Doing

  • Perform aggregate sampling, testing, and quality control inspections to ensure compliance with product specifications and industry standards.
  • Monitor quarry production processes and communicate quality-related observations and recommendations to operations teams.
  • Maintain accurate test records, reports, and documentation in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Troubleshoot quality concerns and collaborate with production personnel to identify and implement corrective actions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

What Are We Looking For

  • Knowledge of aggregate testing procedures, quality control practices, and industry specifications.
  • Ability to accurately collect, analyze, and interpret data to support quality assurance processes.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across multiple teams.
  • Proficiency with computers, testing equipment, and recordkeeping systems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.

Work Environment

  • Work is performed in both laboratory and outdoor quarry environments- traveling to multiple sites in a given day/week, but base location will be either Upton or Franklin, KY.
  • Regular exposure to varying weather conditions, dust, noise, and moving equipment.
  • Frequent walking, standing, lifting, and climbing may be required.
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn and safety protocols followed at all times.
