Lead Data Engineer

What is this position about?

• Establish and maintain comprehensive data governance frameworks and standards across the organization's data landscape.
• Design and implement Master Data Management (MDM) solutions to ensure data consistency and quality across 80+ ERP systems.
• Develop and enforce ETL standards and best practices for Microsoft Fabric environments.
• Design, optimize, and maintain robust data models that support seamless integration from multiple ERP sources.
• Lead the technical strategy for integrating and transforming data from diverse ERP systems into Microsoft Fabric for AI-driven analytics and insights.
• Conduct data quality assessments and implement corrective measures to ensure data integrity.
• Mentor junior team members on data modeling, governance, and best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.

• Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex data transformations and query optimization.
• Strong Python expertise for automation scripting and data pipeline development.
• Demonstrated experience in data modeling across complex, multi-source environments.
• Solid understanding of Azure ecosystem and hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• Proven experience with data governance frameworks and Master Data Management principles.
• Strong knowledge of ETL processes, tools, and best practices.
• Experience working with enterprise ERP systems and multi-source data integration scenarios.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on scalability and maintainability.

5+ years of experience in Data Engineering with demonstrated expertise in data modeling and ETL development.
