【Division and Products】
Valeo Japan is composed of four divisions:

　１）Power Division ： Designs, develops, and manufactures products and solutions related to thermal management, comfort, and electric powertrains to accelerate electrification.

　２）Brain Division ： Designs, develops, and manufactures products and solutions to accelerate ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and reimagine interior experiences.

　３）Light Division ： Designs, develops, and manufactures products and solutions for lighting everywhere.

　４）Valeo Service Division ： Provides after-sales services for all products from Divisions 1-3.

As a key engineer in lighting ECU development, you will lead technical requirement definitions and architectural design to enable real-time analysis and optimal light distribution control.

【職務概要 / Job Summary】
次世代ライティングシステム（ADB：配光可変ヘッドランプ、アニメーションランプ等）における、システムエンジニアリング業務全般を担当します。OEM（完成車メーカー）との折衝から、社内の各専門部署（ソフト・ハード・メカ）への要件展開、V字プロセスに沿ったシステム設計まで、開発の最上流工程を担う重要なポジションです。

You will be responsible for overall system engineering for next-generation lighting systems (ADB, animation lamps, etc.). This is a critical upstream position covering everything from negotiations with OEMs to requirements dissemination to internal hardware/software/mechanical teams and system design following the V-model.

顧客折衝と要件定義 / Customer Negotiation & Requirements Definition:
・OEMとの技術的な要件定義および折衝（Technical requirements negotiation with OEMs）

システム設計 / System Design:
・A-SPICEに準拠したシステム要件定義およびアーキテクチャ設計（System requirements definition and architecture design compliant with A-SPICE）

部門間調整 / Inter-departmental Coordination:
・ハードウェア、ソフトウェア、メカニカル各部門への要件展開とインターフェースの調整（Requirement dissemination and interface coordination for HW/SW/Mech departments）

プロジェクト管理 / Project Management:
・V字プロセスに基づいたシステム開発全体の進捗・品質管理（Management of development progress and quality based on the V-model process）

【働き方 / Work Style】

• 出社（規定により週1回在宅勤務）/ On-site work (remote work allowed once a week according to regulations)
• 月1回、JOEM先への出張あり/ Business trips to JOEM (Japanese Automotive OEM) clients once a month

【必須要件 (Must)】

• 自動車部品関連の開発実務経験（3年以上）　
• 車載通信プロトコル（CAN, LIN等）に関する知識やベクターツールの使用経験
• 社内外のステークホルダーと円滑に連携できる高いコミュニケーション能力

【語学】

• 日本語：ネイティブレベル
• 英語：基礎会話レベル以上　
  ※入社後に学ぶ意欲がある方/抵抗がない方

【歓迎要件 (Want)】

• 車両、車載ECU、または車載部品の開発実務経験（3年以上）
• 組込み製品におけるシステム設計、またはソフト/ハード開発の経験
• C言語、またはモデルベース開発（MATLAB/Simulink）の基礎知識
• A-SPICEに準拠したシステム設計経験
• ビジネスレベルの英語力（海外拠点や海外OEMとの実務経験）

【Must】

• 3+ years of practical development experience in automotive components
• Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, etc.) and experience using Vector tools
• Strong communication skills to collaborate smoothly with internal and external stakeholders

【Language Skills】

• Japanese: Native level
• English: Basic conversational level or above *Must be willing/open to learning after joining

【Want】

• 3+ years of practical development experience in vehicles, automotive ECUs, or automotive components
• Experience in system design, or software/hardware development for embedded products
• Basic knowledge of C language or Model-Based Development (MATLAB/Simulink)
• System design experience compliant with Automotive SPICE (A-SPICE)
• Business-level English proficiency (hands-on experience with overseas locations or foreign OEMs)
