General information The Managing Director, Mavie Work Poland is a newly expanded, full-time dedicated leadership role created to oversee a unified business entity in Poland. Mavie Work acquired Assessment Systems Poland (AS) , and the organization is currently merging Wellbeing Polska and AS Poland into a single legal entity (targeted for full integration by 2028). The role will serve as the strategic bridge between two distinct business models and organizational cultures: Wellbeing Polska: A larger operation with a platform-driven, scalable, and sales-oriented business model focused on digital tools, standardized processes, and growth. Assessment Systems Poland: A lean team operating a high-quality, relationship-driven, personalized consulting and counseling business. Core Purpose of the Role The Managing Director holds full strategic, commercial, and operational responsibility for the unified Polish business. The primary mission is to: Grow a highly profitable business by expanding the portfolio, driving revenue, and hitting profitability targets (EBITA). Unify the business models by scaling the digital platform while preserving the high-touch, personalized consulting and clinical counseling expertise. Position the company as the unique market leader in Poland at the intersection of leadership assessment, mental health, employee assistance (EAP), and organizational wellbeing. Your mission Strategy and Business Growth Help shape and execute Mavie Work’s growth strategy in Poland, together with HQ. Identify market opportunities and develop the service portfolio based on client needs. Drive the commercial development of key offerings, including the Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Take ownership of business performance, including revenue, budgets, margins, and profitability. Represent Mavie Work with key clients, partners, and external stakeholders. Sales and Client Relationships Build on the existing pipeline and actively develop new business, with a focus on generating early commercial momentum. Build strong, long-term relationships with strategic corporate clients and act as a trusted partner in wellbeing, mental health, HR, and leadership topics. Oversee key sales processes, negotiations, and client relationships. Identify opportunities to create synergies and cross-sell across the combined portfolio. Operational Management & Integration Help bring together two organizations into one effective and collaborative operating model. Balance digital scalability with the high-quality, personal approach our clients value. Support efficient day-to-day operations, budgeting, and performance management. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory, data protection, and professional standards. Leadership and People Development Bring together different teams, expertise, and ways of working around a shared vision. Lead and support a diverse team of digital, consulting, and clinical professionals. Foster a collaborative, entrepreneurial, and people-focused culture with clear goals and accountability. Give experienced professionals the autonomy to do their best work while supporting strong business performance. Portfolio & Innovation Shape a compelling, integrated offering across consulting, organizational development, wellbeing, mental health, and technology. Support the digitalization and continuous improvement of our services. Stay close to market trends and client needs to identify opportunities for innovation and growth. Your profile 6–10 years in strategic HR, wellbeing or related professional services, with significant people-leadership experience. Background in consulting, healthcare, employee wellbeing or professional services is strongly preferred. HR + Business Expertise: Strong strategic HR/HRBP or consulting background, ideally combined with operational business experience. The candidate must be able to translate HR and wellbeing expertise into clear business value for corporate clients . Highly proactive and sales-oriented, with a proven ability to develop pipelines, win new clients and grow existing accounts—not simply deliver expertise or content. Demonstrated experience managing P&L, budgets, margins, KPIs and overall business performance . Collaborative, empowering and hands-on. Comfortable leading a flat, project-based organization, giving experts autonomy while maintaining accountability and performance. Must be able to effectively lead very different profiles - from technology and platform specialists to senior consulting psychologists . Languages: Excellent Polish and English , both written and spoken. Why us?
