Job Description

About Patrianna

Patrianna is a fast-scaling product development company headquartered in Gibraltar, with a dynamic, global team powering our growth. We operate at the intersection of technology and entertainment, building innovative solutions that shape the future of social gaming and deliver outstanding experiences to millions of players worldwide.

We're driven by speed, ambition, and bold ideas. At our core, we're product creators and problem-solvers who thrive in a high-performance environment. We're looking for exceptional talent—smart, adaptable, and motivated individuals eager to make an impact, scale business functions at pace, and continuously improve.

Whether you're a domain expert or an agile thinker who thrives in change, at Patrianna you'll have the freedom to innovate, take ownership, and help us lead the next wave of gaming innovation.

Join us—and be part of something extraordinary.

The Role

We're looking for a Compliance and Privacy Manager to own and evolve our compliance framework, keeping Patrianna on the right side of regulation while helping the business grow responsibly and at pace.

What you will be doing

  • You'll own Patrianna's compliance and privacy framework end-to-end — policies, controls, governance, risk assessments — and keep it sharp as the business scales internationally.

  • You'll monitor regulatory and legislative changes, assess their impact, and make sure the right actions land with the right teams.

  • You'll oversee GDPR and data protection compliance — ROPAs, DPIAs, data subject rights, retention policies, privacy-by-design — and handle it all with precision.

  • You'll act as the go-to advisor across Legal, Product, Technology, HR, and Finance, translating complex compliance requirements into clear, practical guidance people actually act on.

  • You'll manage third-party due diligence, compliance incident response (including data breaches), and audit support — keeping everything documented and resolved.

  • You'll build and deliver compliance training and awareness initiatives that make compliance part of how we work, not a box we tick.

What we are looking for

  • Proven experience in a compliance, privacy, data protection, or regulatory role within a technology, gaming, fintech, or similarly fast-paced environment — you've navigated a complex, international regulatory landscape before.

  • Strong, practical knowledge of GDPR and data protection law, with a broader grasp of regulatory compliance and risk management frameworks.

  • A track record of building and implementing compliance policies, controls, and governance frameworks from the ground up, not just inheriting them.

  • The stakeholder confidence to advise operational teams and senior leadership alike — you simplify the complex without dumbing it down.

  • Highly detail-oriented and proactive — you spot issues before they become problems and you drive solutions, not just reports.

  • Professional qualifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, or ICA are a bonus, but a strong track record and sharp legal instincts matter more to us.

Why you will love it

This isn't a tick-box compliance role. You'll have real ownership over how Patrianna approaches compliance, privacy, and risk — shaping our frameworks, influencing product decisions, and working alongside Legal, Technology, and Product teams who actually want you at the table.

We move fast, we're direct, and we trust people to take ownership without being micromanaged. If you're energised by building things properly and making compliance genuinely embedded in the culture — not bolted on — this is the role for you.

We hire based on skills, drive, and ideas — nothing else. Your background, gender, age, race, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, religion, neurodiversity, or educational path will never be a barrier to joining us. We also welcome candidates from non-traditional career journeys and value diverse perspectives that challenge conventional thinking. Diversity fuels our innovation, collaboration, and growth, and we're committed to creating an environment where everyone can contribute their best work and thrive.
