Job Description
At Lexroom, we’re not just building software; we’re revolutionizing the way legal professionals work.
Our mission?
To empower lawyers, law firms and companies with a world-class AI product that saves time, boosts productivity, and redefine what’s possible in the legal world.
To become the most innovative AI company in Italy.
To build the new sales standard, the sales school for B2B sales in Italy.
We’re changing the game, and we’re doing it with a team of rockstars who are looking for their next big challenge and ambition.
Why Lexroom?
Shape the Future: Be part of the team that’s leading the AI revolution for legal professionals.
Grow with Rockstars: Collaborate with industry-leading talents in an environment that values creativity, ambition, and growth.
Make an Impact: Your work will directly influence how lawyers around the world practice law—more efficiently, effectively, and intelligently.
At Lexroom, we don’t just promise career growth; we promise a journey of learning, impact, and purpose. Ready to change the world of law?
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Ship product features end to end: data model, API, interface, deployment - Python (Django or FastAPI) on the backend, React and Next.js on the frontend.
Design and build robust, scalable APIs and backend services, then consume them in a typed, well-structured frontend.
Build the interfaces that make AI usable for lawyers: streaming responses, long-running jobs, document-heavy workflows.
Optimize performance across the stack — query performance on SQL, NoSQL and Vector stores; rendering, loading and responsiveness on the client.
Work closely with product and design to turn ambiguous problems into shipped features.
Uphold engineering standards through code reviews, testing, and CI/CD best practices.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
3+ years building web applications end to end, with strong Python and solid JavaScript/TypeScript.
Production experience with Django or FastAPI, and with React (Next.js is a plus).
Comfort with modern frontend fundamentals: component architecture, state management, accessibility, performance.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and infrastructure fundamentals.
Experience with modern databases — relational, document-based, or vector (a plus).
Strong understanding of Git workflows, API design, and software engineering principles.
Experience or genuine interest in ML/NLP and LLM integrations is a significant plus.
Familiarity with AI developer tools and ecosystems — such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI API, Anthropic Claude, or similar frameworks — is a plus.
Proactive, ownership-driven mindset — you flag problems, propose solutions, and follow through.
