Job Description

About the Role

Join a fast-growing, pre-seed AI startup that is reimagining how top talent connects with startup opportunities. As a Founding Engineer Intern, you'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with the CTO and founding team to build and ship production features every day — helping automate an end-to-end, fully agentic headhunting platform. This is a high-ownership, high-impact role for a builder who thrives in scrappy, fast-moving environments.

What You'll Do

  • Build and ship end-to-end features to production on a daily cadence.

  • Collaborate closely with the CTO and founding team to own components from ideation to deployment.

  • Develop and iterate on a fully agentic system designed to automate the headhunting process end-to-end.

  • Engage directly with users to measure impact on hiring speed and experience.

  • Contribute to a fast, high-output, low-ego engineering culture.

  • Work in a hacker-house or remote-forward setup with a strong ownership mindset.

What We're Looking For

Required (Dealbreakers):

  • 6+ months of professional or project-based experience building production features in TypeScript and React.

  • Full-stack development focus with demonstrated ability to build and ship end-to-end features; not primarily an ML engineer or heavily specialized in a single language (e.g., Python, C++).

  • Currently enrolled in or pursuing a degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Portfolio or GitHub demonstrating full-stack development and open-source contributions.

  • Production experience with Supabase, Prisma, and Typesense in a React/TypeScript stack.

  • Experience with Cursor as a development tool.

  • Standout credentials or projects — strong GPA, notable university, active GitHub, or recognized side projects.

  • Experience working in entrepreneurial or early-stage environments with rapid iteration and shipping cadence.

  • Strong ownership mindset: ability to take a feature from idea to production independently.

Nice to Have:

  • Willingness to work 7 days per week during the internship.

  • Openness to working in hacker-houses in Latin America.
