Role Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Cybersecurity Engineer with 5–7 years of experience in enterprise security architecture, process transformation and AI-driven security solutions.
This role requires an individual who can understand cybersecurity processes end-to-end, identify improvement opportunities, drive operational excellence, and partner with business and technology stakeholders to strengthen the organization's security posture. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise, process optimization, automation, and strong stakeholder management skills to support cybersecurity initiatives, enhance compliance, and contribute to enterprise-wide cybersecurity transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Cybersecurity Process Management & Transformation
- Drive cybersecurity transformation initiatives focused on improving efficiency, governance, automation, and risk reduction.
- Analyze existing cybersecurity processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to streamline workflows and reduce cycle times.
- Establish and enhance operational processes, controls, governance mechanisms, and reporting frameworks across cybersecurity functions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging data, automation, and industry best practices.
Enterprise Security Architecture
- Support the implementation and adoption of enterprise security architecture principles and security-by-design practices.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of security frameworks, standards, reference architectures, and architectural controls.
Application Security & Tool Adoption
- Support the adoption and optimization of application security tools and secure coding practices.
- Track and improve security tool utilization, coverage, and effectiveness across engineering teams.
- Partner with stakeholders to drive remediation activities resulting from code scanning, container security, and application security assessments.
Artificial Intelligence (AI), Agentic Security & Automation
- Identify opportunities to leverage Generative AI, intelligent agents, machine learning, and workflow automation to streamline cybersecurity processes.
- Contribute to AI-powered analytics, dashboards, predictive insights, and decision-support capabilities.
- Evaluate emerging AI, Security Copilot, autonomous agent, and intelligent automation technologies for cybersecurity use cases.
- Support AI governance activities, Responsible AI principles, and AI security risk management practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, application security, security governance, vulnerability management, risk management, or related disciplines.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and industry standards such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, ISO 42001, CIS Controls, OWASP, or similar.
- Experience in cybersecurity process improvement, governance, operational management, and transformation initiatives.
- Understanding of enterprise security architecture principles and security engineering concepts.
- Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI governance, and AI security risks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting cybersecurity transformation programs.
- Exposure to cloud security, DevSecOps, Zero Trust, and modern security architectures.
- Experience implementing AI-enabled security tools, Security Copilots, intelligent assistants, or agentic AI solutions.
- Familiarity with AI governance frameworks, Responsible AI principles, NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, or similar standards.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security+, CCSP, GSEC, Azure Security Engineer, or equivalent.
The pay range for this role is $105,050 to $161,800 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
