Junior Software Engineer (Python)

Job Description

We are looking for a junior Python engineer to join a project focused on building an energy management system that connects battery storage, PV installations, charging infrastructure, and other smart energy components into one intelligent platform. This role is suited for an engineer early in their career who wants to grow into backend development and device integration work under the guidance of a senior team.About the Project:The project is a growing energy management platform running primarily on Python, with services connecting hardware devices and external data sources across the energy stack. You will work alongside senior engineers on microservices, device communication protocols, and data processing logic that supports real time control functions.Responsibilities:Develop and maintain microservices in Python;Support integration of devices and APIs (Modbus, MQTT, REST, and similar protocols);Contribute to data processing logic and control functions for the energy management system;Support testing, logging, and monitoring efforts;Collaborate with frontend, hardware, and energy engineering teams;Learn and apply best practices under senior engineer guidance.Qualifications:Completed degree in computer science, energy engineering, or a comparable field;Early hands on experience with Python (e.g. FastAPI, pandas, asyncio);Exposure to C++ is a plus;Prior experience or coursework in the energy sector is particularly valued;Basic understanding of APIs, data models, and interface communication;Self-driven and structured way of working;Willingness to learn device communication protocols and control systems.Recruitment Process:Initial interview with our recruitment team;Technical interview with the client;Final decision and offer.Inuits Sp. z o.o. is registered in the National Register of Employment Agencies (KRAZ) under number 35420.
