Job Description 

  • Lead complex product development programs within the Hi-Rel Business Division, driving cross-functional teams from project inception through customer release. 

  • Own project execution, serving as the primary point of accountability for scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality, and overall program success. 

  • Develop and manage integrated project plans, budgets, forecasts, milestones, and deliverables to ensure alignment with business and customer objectives. 

  • Facilitate effective decision-making by leading execution reviews, resolving issues, mitigating risks, and removing roadblocks to maintain program momentum. 

  • Prepare and deliver concise project status updates, management reviews, and decision-point presentations to executive leadership and stakeholders. 

  • Drive continuous improvement through the development and implementation of project management best practices, processes, and execution methodologies. 

  • Partner closely with engineering, operations, quality, supply chain, marketing, sales, and program leadership to ensure successful execution across the product portfolio. 

  • Monitor and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs), proactively escalating issues and driving corrective actions to achieve program goals. 

  • Support annual operating planning and portfolio management activities, including project estimation, forecasting, resource planning, and budget management. 

  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Demand Creation teams to align development priorities with customer requirements and market opportunities. 

Key responsibilities 

  • Delivery of projects to schedule, budget and quality. First time-right mentality with execution 

  • Implement project management strategy to challenge status quo and drive higher efficiency of execution to scale up to the roadmap requirements 

  • Continuous focus on mitigating project risk by tracking progress, contingency planning and acting on small signals with high urgency and timely escalation to prevent fire fighting  

  • Develop a strong team that understands their role and responsibilities, collaborates with each other and others in the team and seamlessly executes with continuous focus on improving all execution vectors 

Experience 

  • Experienced professional with 10+ years of relevant experience working for a major analog semiconductor or Space system company 

  • 5+ years of hand`s on technical program/project management experience leading teams to develop broad market or custom mix-signal analog products for satellite and space, commercial, industrial or automotive applications. PMP certification is not a requirement but will be plus 

  • 5+ years of relevant experience being part of Product line NPI functional teams as a hands-on product, test, validation, design, quality or related function  

  • In depth understanding of new product introduction and product development flow from concept to production release. Exposure to Automotive process or Space RADHard processes is a plus 

Skills 

  • Proficient with industry standard project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, SharePoint, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, Microsoft OneNote  

Education 

  • BS, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Masters or PhD EE is preferred
