Job Description

  • Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of HV substation projects (132kV or higher).
  • Coordinate with clients (e.g., TNB), consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Ensure compliance with Energy Commission (ST) regulations and TNB standards.
  • Monitor project progress, budget, and quality, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Lead site inspections, safety audits, and technical reviews.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, reports, and permits.
  • Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
  • Liaise with local authorities for approvals and inspections.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in HV substation or transmission & distribution projects.
  • Experience with TNB projects is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, protection schemes, and SCADA integration.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders.
