About the ProjectWe are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a team building and evolving modern mobile solutions used by thousands of users.The mobile platform is being developed towards a modern architecture based on Native Shells, Native Modules, WebView, and Server-Driven UI (SDUI), enabling multiple product teams to work independently while maintaining a seamless user experience, high performance, security, and scalability.This role offers the opportunity to contribute not only to application development, but also to the evolution of mobile architecture, engineering standards, and development processes.Scope of ServicesDesign and develop Android applications using Kotlin and modern Android technologiesContribute to the design and evolution of the target mobile architectureDesign and implement Android Native Shells and reusable Native ModulesSupport application modularization and scalability initiativesIntegrate native Android components with WebView and Server-Driven UI (SDUI) solutionsDevelop and maintain the Android Design System, including reusable UI components, documentation, and development guidelinesCollaborate closely with Product Owners, UX Designers, Backend Engineers, and other stakeholdersParticipate actively in technical discussions and architectural decision-makingImplement user interfaces with a strong focus on usability, accessibility, consistency, and user experienceRefactor existing codebases and improve application maintainabilityParticipate in code reviews and pair programming sessionsMentor and support less experienced team membersImplement automated testing strategies and quality assurance processesDefine and promote coding standards, best practices, and development guidelinesCreate and maintain technical documentationEnsure ongoing maintenance and support of existing solutionsDrive continuous improvements within the development teamContribute to CI/CD processes, release management, and application delivery through Google PlayWork in an Agile product development environmentRequired QualificationsMinimum 3 years of professional experience in Android application developmentStrong commercial experience with KotlinHands-on experience with:Jetpack ComposeHiltRoomKotlin CoroutinesKotlin FlowRetrofit or similar networking librariesSolid understanding of:MVVMClean ArchitectureSOLID principlesObject-Oriented Programming and design patternsExperience designing and building complex mobile applicationsExperience with application architecture and codebase refactoringUnderstanding of mobile application security and secure data processing practicesStrong knowledge of Android UI/UX guidelines and best practicesExperience implementing accessible and user-friendly interfacesExperience participating in code reviews and technical discussionsAbility to work independently and take ownership of delivered solutionsStrong collaboration and communication skillsExperience with CI/CD concepts and development workflowsEnglish proficiency at B2 level or higherNice to HaveExperience in a Senior, Lead, Principal, or Tech Lead roleExperience with Native Modules, WebView-based architectures, or Server-Driven UI (SDUI)Experience building or maintaining Design Systems and UI component librariesExperience with mobile application modularizationExperience with Firebase Analytics or similar analytics platformsExperience writing unit tests and automated testsExperience with E2E testing tools such as MaestroFamiliarity with GDPR requirements in mobile applicationsExperience using Git, Jira, and ConfluenceExperience collaborating closely with UX teams and working with FigmaStrong understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive mobile designExperience using AI-powered tools in daily software developmentExperience building scalable mobile platforms supporting multiple product teamsWhat We OfferLong-term cooperation within a stable and growing product environmentInfluence over architecture and key technical decisionsOpportunity to work with modern Android technologies and architectural patternsA high-impact role with real ownership and autonomyCollaboration with experienced product, UX, and engineering teamsHybrid working model (up to 5 on-site visits per year)Tech StackKotlin • Jetpack Compose • Hilt • Room • Coroutines • Flow • Retrofit • MVVM • Clean Architecture • Git • CI/CD • Firebase Analytics • Maestro • WebView • SDUI
