Job Description
About Novellia:
Novellia is the first and only company that lets anyone in the US gain access to nearly a decade of their health data in under 30 seconds, 100% free. All your health records, across doctors, all in one place, always up to date.
We work with the world's top researchers to safely turn health insights into life-changing action for millions of people across the world.
Novellia is the only patient-powered real world data platform delivering comprehensive, patient-authorized longitudinal health insights to accelerate biopharma innovation. Unlike traditional RWD providers who provide fragmented institutional data, we empower patients to access 15+ years of their health records for free, then transform these complete health journeys into fit-for-purpose datasets for evidence generation, regulatory submissions, and market access. We're growing 5x YoY with top pharma partners, our data have been published with leading scientific organizations such as ASCO and SABCS/AACR, and are backed by tier-1 investors including Spark Capital, Khosla Ventures, Bling Capital, and more.
About the Role
Novellia is seeking a technically sharp analyst with 3-5 years of experience to work with our patient data and translate findings into compelling scientific communications. This is a hands-on data role with a strong communications component.

Harmonize and manipulate data across multiple sources and formats to support research questions

Develop accessible, accurate summaries of complex findings for non-specialist audiences including journalists, patients, and partners
Support press and media outreach related to Novellia's research and data assets
Maintain rigorous standards for data integrity and ethical use of patient data
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in a data-intensive role within healthcare, life sciences, or a related field
Strong technical skills in data analysis and manipulation, including proficiency in R and Python
Advanced proficiency in using AI tools to support and accelerate biostatistical analysis, including AI-assisted coding workflows
Experience harmonizing large, complex datasets across multiple sources and formats
Excellent scientific writing skills with the ability to communicate findings clearly to non-specialist audiences
Familiarity with real-world data, patient registries, or observational research is a strong plus
Comfortable working with guidance from a technical team and taking direction on analytical approach
Don't meet every single requirement? Studies have shown that women and people of color are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. At Novellia, we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you're excited about this role but your past experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
