As Data Analytics Manager, you'll lead the development of reporting, analytics and insight capabilities across Revenue Protection and Debt Operations, helping to drive operational excellence, regulatory compliance and business performance.
This is an exciting opportunity to influence strategic decision-making, shape new ways of working and work closely with industry partners and regulatory stakeholders in a rapidly evolving energy landscape.
What you'll be doing
You'll lead the development of data-driven insight and reporting solutions that support Revenue Protection and Debt Operations activities across ScottishPower. Through detailed analysis, you'll identify trends, opportunities and risks, helping the business improve operational performance, maximise revenue recovery and strengthen regulatory compliance.
You'll work closely with colleagues across the business, including SP Smart, SP Energy Networks, Regulation and senior leadership teams, to develop innovative reporting frameworks and business improvement initiatives. You'll also oversee key regulatory reporting activities, support compliance audits, represent ScottishPower within industry forums and lead a team focused on delivering high-quality analytical solutions that create measurable business value.
What you'll bring
We're looking for an experienced analytics leader with a passion for transforming data into meaningful insight.
You'll bring strong analytical capabilities and extensive experience working with complex datasets, performance reporting and business improvement initiatives.
You'll be comfortable interpreting data, identifying opportunities and delivering recommendations that support strategic and operational decision-making.
You'll also have excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation. Experience leading teams, driving change and delivering projects within a regulated environment will be highly beneficial.
Knowledge of the energy sector, regulatory compliance, revenue protection, debt operations or smart metering would be advantageous, along with advanced Excel expertise and experience of customer business systems and performance reporting tools.
