We are seeking an experienced Contracts/Subcontracts Administrator who will thrive in a dynamic organization. We are a high-growth organization with unique expertise and innovative
products that support missions critical to U.S. national security.

This is a hybrid position working from our Herndon, VA headquarters office.  

What you will do:

  • Lead full lifecycle contract administration, from solicitation and proposal support through negotiation, award, performance, modification, and closeout.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, which may include master services agreements, statements of work, software and technology licenses, SaaS agreements, vendor
    agreements, nondisclosure agreements, and other customer or supplier terms.
  • Evaluate and negotiate commercial terms involving intellectual property and data rights, confidentiality, warranties, indemnification, limitations of liability, insurance, payment, acceptance,
    termination and dispute resolution in coordination with internal stakeholders.
  • Interpret contract terms and applicable requirements, including the FAR, DFARS, agency supplements, and company policies; translate requirements into practical guidance for program
    teams.
  • Lead negotiations with government and commercial customers, prime contractors, subcontractors and other business partners; identify contractual and financial risks, develop mitigation strategies, and make recommendations to management. 
  • Manage and execute subcontracts. Develop solicitation packages, evaluate subcontractor/supplier proposals, perform cost and price analysis, document negotiation positions, and establish appropriate subcontract terms, clauses and flowdowns. 
  • Provide clear internal tracking and reporting on portfolio status, funding, deliverables, risks, actions, and emerging issues. 
  • Partner with program leadership, Finance, Growth, Legal, Procurement, and Capability Areas to resolve issues and support sound business decisions.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field, or equal relevant experience and professional training
  • 5+ years of professional experience in a contract management/procurement role
  • Demonstrated experience independently managing contracts across the full lifecycle and advising program and business stakeholders
  • Experience with multiple contract types, including firm-fixed-price, time and materials, cost reimbursement, IDIQ, and task orders.
  • Working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, applicable agency supplements, and Government contracting principles, including relevant contract laws and regulations, and DCAA/DCMA compliance
  • Experience negotiating terms and conditions, identifying risk, supporting proposals, and performing or reviewing cost and price analysis
  • Experience reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements and identifying business and legal issues for escalation to the appropriate stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Solid analytical judgement, organization, and ability to manage competing priorities with limited supervision
  • Ability to work in a hybrid capacity in Northern Virginia

Clearance needed:

  • Active TS clearance with ability to obtain SCI

The projected salary range listed for this position is annualized. This is a general guideline and not a guarantee of salary. Salary is one component of our total compensation package and the specific salary offered is determined by various factors, including, but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, geographic location, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements.

$130,000$169,500 USD
