Software Engineering Intern

Curious about how software drives real-world systems like power plants and global electricity markets? As a Software Engineering Intern at SF, you’ll work alongside experienced developers building the platforms that power our algorithmic trading and control hundreds of energy assets. We build everything in-house, for ourselves, which means we move fast, stay focused, and give interns a real chance to learn and contribute. 

What would you work on? 

• Write and test code for our high-performance, low-latency trading software using Kotlin. 
• Learn to build fast, reliable software. 
• Get hands-on with multithreading and software optimization techniques. 
• Pair with experienced engineers to understand best coding and development practices. 
• Take on small projects with direct impact. 

What makes you a great candidate? 

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field. 
• Comfortable coding in any C-family language (Kotlin, Java, C/C++ or C#). 
• Good problem-solving skills and understanding of basic CS concepts, including algorithms and data structures. 
• Eager to learn and ask questions. 
• You are full of ideas and enjoy discussing them with others.  
• Fully available onsite in the Summer of 2027 in Prague location.
