The Global Digital Hub growing business line within Roche Services & Solutions Center. Our main purpose is to strengthen the digital capabilities of Roche globally by supporting central initiatives with Social Media Management, Brand Support, Digital Publishing Services, Marketing Automation, Content Creation, and Creative Design.

The Content Librarian is responsible for executing day-to-day operational activities across the enterprise Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform and the Medical, Legal, Regulatory (MLR) / content approval system. Working under the guidance of the Content Librarian Manager, this role supports the accurate organization, tagging, maintenance, approval readiness, and discoverability of digital assets while helping ensure that content is compliant, accessible, and managed in accordance with established standards and processes.

Your Opportunity

  • Execute day-to-day content librarianship activities across the DAM and MLR content approval platforms using established processes, taxonomy standards, and metadata requirements.

  • Apply and maintain metadata, taxonomy, naming conventions, tags, and asset classifications to ensure digital assets are organized, compliant, and easily discoverable.

  • Upload, update, maintain, archive, or retire digital assets and related records in accordance with defined content lifecycle processes.

  • Support content approval workflow activities by helping ensure content records, approvals, supporting information, and system statuses are accurately maintained.

  • Monitor asset and content records for completeness, metadata accuracy, approval status, and compliance with defined standards before release or reuse.

  • Support the handoff and alignment between the content approval environment and the DAM to help ensure approved assets are available and correctly managed for downstream use.

  • Process routine user access and permission requests in accordance with approved controls, escalation paths, and governance requirements.

  • Assist in monitoring asset expiration dates, usage rights, and related restrictions, and escalate risks or exceptions as needed.

  • Respond to routine user questions and support requests related to DAM and MLR processes, content search, metadata entry, upload requirements, and basic platform usage.

  • Support quality assurance checks to ensure assets, metadata, and content records are accurate, complete, and aligned with established standards.

  • Maintain operational documentation, logs, and records related to asset management, user support, request handling, and platform activities.

  • Follow documented standard operating procedures, governance requirements, and quality controls to ensure consistency and compliance in execution.

  • Escalate non-standard issues, process gaps, rights concerns, system issues, or workflow bottlenecks to the Content Librarian Manager or appropriate stakeholders.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying recurring tagging issues, metadata gaps, workflow pain points, or user support needs.

  • Support onboarding, training reinforcement, and knowledge-sharing activities for users by providing practical operational guidance where needed.

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Information Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 3 to 6 years of experience in digital asset management, content operations, martech operations, content administration, libraries/information management, or a related execution-focused environment is preferred.

  • Basic to working knowledge of DAM platforms, content approval systems, MLR workflows, or related content management processes is preferred.

  • Understanding of metadata, taxonomy, naming conventions, information organization, or digital asset lifecycle management.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity, accuracy, and compliance in handling digital assets and content records.

  • Ability to follow defined workflows, governance requirements, and quality standards consistently.

  • Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple requests and operational tasks in a structured manner.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to support non-technical users effectively.

  • Ability to identify routine issues, maintain high-quality execution, and escalate non-standard matters appropriately.

  • Familiarity with user access processes, digital rights considerations, approval workflows, or content governance practices is an advantage.

  • Proficiency in standard business and collaboration tools; experience with DAM, MLR, or workflow platforms is a plus.

  • Willingness to learn new tools, processes, and governance requirements across the digital content ecosystem.
