Data Architect --- £625 per day --- Inside IR35 | 12 month contract | BPSS Only | Hyrbid | 2 days a week in Leeds A UK central government benefits modernisation programme is hiring a data architect. Two live benefits are moving off a legacy platform onto a modern multi-benefit service. Two solution architects are designing the platform. This role designs the data. What you will do Own the data requirements and objectives for the modernisation across both benefits Identify and document the data structures, data processes and systems the programme needs Make sure data flows to the right places, and that statutory reporting requirements are met Act as the bridge between data stakeholders, the delivery teams and the central data function Present data architecture designs to technical governance forums Shape and support technology initiatives across the programme What you need Data architecture design and modelling techniques, patterns, tools and standards Data modelling, Master Data Management, metadata management and data governance Presenting data architecture design to technical governance forums Event-based architecture design including publish-subscribe and data streaming Public cloud with cloud hosting, container and networking design patterns --- AWS, Azure or GCP DevOps, continuous integration and continuous delivery Agile delivery methodologies Tools: AWS and Microsoft Azure, Lucid, GitHub and GitLab.
